• Whilst manufacturers strive to find ways to make paints less likely to stain, all paints contain pigments and therefore staining may occur. We always advise that protective coverings and clothing is used when painting. Manufacturers recommend removing wet paint from clothing as follows:
1. Wipe off excess with a dry cloth.
2. Soak in cold water overnight.
3. Place an absorbent pad under the stain and work it out with a dry or slightly moistened cloth, moving towards the centre.
4. Wash in a machine with possible pre-treatment of stain remover.
For dried water-based paint, hand wash with ordinary bar soap in warm (not hot) water. Do not use synthetic or biological detergents.
