Introducing the Trevor James 5X student flute outfit

Designed by the Trevor James technical team, the 5X is the younger sibling of the award-winning 10X model. It combines excellent quality construction with great affordability.

It has an attractive silver-plated finish throughout, which ensures that the finest tone is produced. It’s got a standard ‘C’ footjoint, which allows students to play all the way down to bottom C. And it features a free blowing straight headjoint that’s carefully designed to have superb playability, making it particularly suitable for students and new players.

Encourages practice

The closed hole design makes this instrument perfect for entry-level players, as it makes the flute easier to play than other open hole models. The split-E mechanism is also beneficial to beginner players, making the top E note easier to play and producing a bright sound without affecting any other notes. Plus, the mouthpiece is comfortable to use, letting beginners produce a full and rich sound with ease.
