Systematic Phonics Threading Beads - High Frequency Words Set Phases 2-5

A great set for teaching high frequency words in phases 2-5 with 40 double-sided, colour-coded cards – 10 cards for each phase. Children choose a card with the background colour showing face up to show the picture of the word. They identify the correct word to match the gap, then lace the word and place it on the card. Only one word will fit and the answer is on the reverse of the card. All the words are taken from the High Frequency Words list. The beads are orange, dark purple and light purple to match phases 2, 3 and 5. A white bead with an apostrophe is also included to allow you to make high frequency words which include an apostrophe. Beads can be used independently to create pseudo words to check phonic recognition. Contains 133 beads, 40 double-sided cards (18 x 10cm) and 40 x 23cm laces. Age: 4+.
