Introducing the Studio 49 2000 range bass chromatic xylophone

The 2000 range from Studio 49 feature hand crafted solid rosewood note bars mounted onto a solid pine resonance box. This instrument is the bass chromatic half model which which fills in the accidentals missing on the diatonic 49-BX2000 model to create a fully chromatic instrument. Supplied without the F# and Bb note bars as these come withe the diatonic model.

The resonance box has a rather unique design which includes a number of separate resonance chambers which creates a full sound quality. There are also integrated handles for easy movement and the whole instrument is comparatively compact which make for easy storage.
