Power Supply 6000V - Frederiksen

This power supply delivers stabilised DC voltage, continuously adjustable between 0 and 6kV. For safety, the current is limited by a built-in series resistance. The short-circuit current is 2mA max. Under load, the voltmeter shows the actual supplied voltage. The power supply is also capable of delivering 6.3V (max. 3A) AC. This is the standard voltage for many electron tubes etc. On the front, you will find a yellow/green ground socket, connected to the metal enclosure and hence (through the mains wire) to earth. The high voltage section floats relative to ground, allowing either the black (negative) socket or the red (positive) socket to be connected to ground, resulting in a voltage range of 0 to +6kV resp. 0 to -6kV relative to ground.Specifications: DC Voltage: 0 - 6kV.
