Introducing the JAS Musicals student tabla set

The JAS student tabla sets are ideal for beginners, amateur players and for schools to teach tabla to their pupils. The Bayan (left side drum) of the tabla is made from milled steel and it is chrome-plated. The Dayan (right side drum) is made from a low density knotted Sheshamwood. The size of the dayan head is 5" (12.7cm) . Both heads of the dayan and bayan are made from a light gauge, treated natural goat skin. These quality, light heads are designed with beginners in mind as they are easier to play.
