Introducing the Vicoustic VicSpacer MKII VMT flat panel installation system

The Vicoustic VicSpacer MKII VMT flat panel installation system is a purpose-built fixation solution designed to enhance both the performance and appearance of Flat Panel VMT acoustic panels. Supplied as a set of two and pre-assembled for straightforward installation, this system allows panels to be mounted with improved acoustic efficiency and a clean, professional finish.

Manufactured from moisture-resistant MDF with lacquered steel components, the VicSpacer MKII is engineered for durability in commercial, education and studio environments. It is specifically designed for use with 20mm thick Vicoustic VMT 120cm flat acoustic panels, which are sold separately.

Enhanced acoustic performance

By positioning the Flat Panel VMT 40mm away from the wall or ceiling, the VicSpacer MKII creates an air gap that significantly improves acoustic absorption, particularly in the medium and lower frequency ranges. This added spacing allows panels to perform more effectively than when mounted directly to a surface.

The result is improved control of reflections and greater overall clarity in spaces where balanced sound and reduced reverberation are essential.

Flexible and compatible mounting options

The VicSpacer MKII is fully compatible with Vicoustic’s VicFix fixation systems, including the VicFix Mini and J Profile System. It can be wall-mounted using the VicFix J Profile 2m, or positioned in room corners with the VicFix Corner Plus to create an effective bass trap configuration.

For ceiling installations, panels fitted with VicSpacer MKII should be securely attached directly using screws, ensuring safe and stable mounting.

Clean, professional finish

Designed to conceal the white edges of the Flat Panel VMT, the VicSpacer MKII contributes to a refined and cohesive visual result. Available in White, Black or Grey Matte finishes, it integrates neatly with a wide range of interior schemes.
