Fingertip Pulse Oximeter-The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter can be used to measure human Haemoglobin Saturation and Heart Rate through a fingertip. Pulse Oximetry uses a light emitter with red and infrared LED that shines through a reasonably translucent site with good blood flow e.g. fingertip. Opposite the emitter is a photo detector that receives the light that passes through the measuring site. Easy to operate: put the test subject's finger into the rubber cushions of the clip and then clip the finger. Press the switch button once. The LCD digital display will show: Pulse intensity by a single column bar graph. Pulse rate as numbers (pulse oxygen saturation %) as numbers Supplied with a hanging rope. Requires 2x 1.5V AAA batteries.
