The ultra-pure water, as produced by this Elga deioniser is almost entirely free of dissolved mineral salts, including silica, and will have a neutral pH since the dissolved CO2 will have been removed. From an inorganic standpoint, Ultra-pure water will conform to International Pharmacopoeia and laboratory grade specifications for purified water.

The B114 is a compact, wall-mounted unit ideal for users who require low volumes of ultra-pure water. It features a 9V battery operated colour coded conductivity meter operated by depressing the 'water test' switch allowing instant monitoring of the treated water quality. When exhaustion of the ion exchange resins is indicated, cartridge replacement is a simple, rapid operation.
