A new Smart Wireless range of science sensors providing the same pre-calibrated accuracy and reliability but with the addition of Bluetooth as well as USB connectivity and can wirelessly connect to mobile devices e.g. tablets and mobile phones as well as desktop computers such as PC's, Apple Mac's and Chrome-books, giving students the ability to run experiments independently, without being tethered to a traditional Data Logger. The range comes with a huge battery life, can be used as a Data Logger in it's own right and can mix and match with existing SmartQ Sensors and Data Loggers! The Motion sensor is a sonar device that emits ultrasonic pulses which are reflected to and from an object to determine its distance from the sensor. That information can be used to work out the velocity or acceleration of the object. It will capture the motion of running students, falling basketballs and carts on inclined planes.
