Pelton Turbine - Frederiksen

This turbine model uses running water to produce electricity which in turn can be used to make several incandescent or LED lamps light up. Water flows via force through the entrance hole in the turbine housing. The turbine housing is made of plexiglass and the turbine wheel metal. The turbine is situated on a container so that the water can drain freely. A water jet pump can be used to generate additional power. Direct current is produced, which is taken out via bushings on top of the unit.
