Geiger-Müller sensor with a built-in high-voltage supply that is suitable for use in many of the traditional experiments with radioactivity. Uses a radiation detector type LND 712. This GM Tube has a 9mm window and is capable of measuring alpha, beta and gamma radiation.
The GM tube can detect both alpha, beta and gamma radiation. The GM sensor is equipped with a beeper, which marks each detected particle (the sound can be switched off).
Comes with a protective cap which is recommended to protect the fragile mica window. The hood should be removed when measuring alpha and beta radiation.
The sensor is also compatible with PASCO's data collection equipment, as well as with Frederiksen's Geiger Muller Counter (BEES code 80705) and DJB's Geiger Muller Counter (BEES code 80960).
A Ø 10 mm tensioning pin is included.
