The rose brass leadpipe ensures a consistent mellow, smooth tone and the medium sized bore offers great versatility with little resistance as well as helping it to be comfortable to hold. The cupronickel slides add great durability and the third slide tuning trigger lets you make incremental intonation fixes, so that you can ensure you are always in tune with those around you. The 100FHR has a warm smooth Flugel tone largely due to its rose-brass bell, which also gives it a distinct and attractive appearance in a lacquer finish.
